This is the introduction to the catalog of Double Zero of Presotto designed by the architect. Pierangelo Sciuto.
The Zero bed was born from the coexistence of two pure shapes: the circle and square. The circle represents the sky since ancient times and harmony, is a moving line that closes in itself, has a beginning and an end, is the perfection and can represent time: a continuous succession of instants, all identical to each other, becoming a constant as day and night.
The square, symbol of land, as opposed to heaven, and the antithesis of the transcendent, expresses stability. The partnership of these two forms makes Zero a balanced and important subject, recalls an idea of \u200b\u200bmovement, the pair evokes heaven and earth.
Born Read centerpiece features a high headboard upholstered with swivel tops as tables and TV stand. A variant is designed for those who must give up the centerpiece, and place the bed to the wall while unconventional and symbolic image.

Sciuto describes the idea of \u200b\u200bthe bed Zero: my thoughts from a major premise: "Emotions", I see landscapes and I try a "thrill" that comes from a mix of elements, color, proportion, space, sounds, smells. Everything leads us to feel the desire to remain for hours to observe nature, to find the peace he tried taking refuge from the stresses of everyday life. The house became a sort of magical environment where technology and sensations come together in atmospheres which tend to create situations of prosperity.
